What you'll Do
As a Site Safety Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in shaping and sustaining a strong safety culture. Your key role responsibilities will include:
- Developing and delivering engaging safety training programs and orientations for new hires.
- Conducting job-site investigations and preparing clear, actionable reports
- Reviewing and updating our written safety program annually
- Monitoring safety records such as permits, citations, and billing documentation
- Recommending corrective actions to prevent future incidents
- Supporting inspections and ensuring compliance with OSHA and MSHA standards
- Managing documentation and helping drive proactive risk management strategies
What you Bring to the Table
- 3+ years of construction safety or construction management experience (Mining background a plus)
- Strong knowledge of relevant safety standards including OSHA (California & Nevada) and MSHA (Federal & State)
- Experience with safety inspections, reporting, case management, and incident prevention
- Tech-Savviness with tools like Bluebeam, Power point, and Speed Sheet
- A keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills
